Test Results

The easiest way to find out your test results is via NHS app, NHS online log in, Patient Access website/ app, or MyGP app.

You can view your latest and past results 24 hours a day, from anywhere with internet connection.

From November 2023, the NHS has opened up online access to your records. You can see doctors' comments on your results.

Alternatively, please call between 11am to 3:30pm to enquire about your test results as our reception staff will have more time to deal with your request between these times.

Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection, and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate, unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.

When you take your test you may be given an estimate how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice.

If the tests show something serious and urgent, we usually try to contact you by telephone or text message. So please make sure you inform us when you change your phone number.

It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if your are advised to do so.
